OWNERS of a Bromsgrove pub have shared their excitement after anonymous street artist, Disney, blessed their facade with a stenciled graffiti piece.

The infamous street artist struck again on Saturday morning (March 9), leaving one of their signature stencils on the wall of the Hop Pole Inn, Birmingham Road.

Staff at the pub took to social media to share the piece, featuring a crouched down monkey with headphones and Nike trainers on.

A spokesperson for the Hop Pole Inn told the Standard: “We love the artwork, it’s been a talking point all weekend in the pub.

“We’d like to thank Disney for choosing the Hop Pole for their latest piece.”

It was painted in the artist’s signature style, which draws similarities to the works of famous stencil artists including the ever popular Bristol born Banksy and French graffiti artist, Blek Le Rat.

Disney has been active with his graffiti in Bromsgrove over the last couple of years. Two business owners along Worcester Road have been treated to artworks by Disney, first at Sunny’s Fryer chip shop in September 2022 followed by Big Dave’s Cafe in November 2023.

The artists works have also featured in Droitwich town centre back in January 2023.

He documents his graffiti on Instagram, where he has been active since September 2020, under the name – Disney.b32.
