THIS eye-catching image appeared on the wall of the Sunny’s Fryer chip shop in Bromsgrove’s Worcester Road over the weekend.

Several people got in touch with The Standard about the creation with some asking if it was done by renowned street artist Banksy.

Reports suggest it was definitely not created by the Bristol-based Banksy but has been attributed to a street artist closer to home – Birmingham’s Disney.

Several people took to social media to praise and welcome the artwork to the town.

Steve Jones, one of the residents who sent us a picture, said the way it appeared overnight was ‘intriguing’.

“Word has quickly spread about it and lots of people have been down to have a look for themselves.”
