BROMSGROVE students have received an exciting visit from one of Britain’s greatest rugby stars.
Heather Fisher spoke to the youngsters at South Bromsgrove High last week as part of the ‘Living for Sport’ campaign supported by Sky Sports.
The Team GB athlete taught the children about vital leadership skills and gender in sport, including some of her own experiences as a professional sports woman.
Rob Law, PE teacher at South Bromsgrove High, said: “From the moment you meet an athlete of Heather’s credentials, you naturally feel in awe of her experiences. She is a truly inspiring individual and she was fantastic with every pupil and member of staff she met on the day. Her story, and clear passion for sport, was not only educational but very inspiring.”
