The Remarkable Mrs Cox radio show - Episode four now available

Bromsgrove Editorial 16th May, 2020   0

EPISODE four of the new Remarkable Mrs Cox radio show by Bromsgrove writer Euan Rose is now available on YouTube.

Euan penned the book for the original ‘Wallop Mrs Cox’ musical, which enjoyed sell-out runs at The Crescent, REP and Hippodrome Theatres and was affectionately known as ‘The Brummie Musical’ .

At the start of the Coronavirus quarantine Euan began writing the Remarkable Mrs Cox Blog which has featured exclusively on the lifestyle section of the Bromsgrove Standard website.

From that has come the radio show.

Emily Cox  – the matriarch of a legendary Birmingham Bull Ring market trader family – is now 101 years old and is in ‘lockdown’ in Bromsgrove, where she has retired.

In her own inimitable style, she muses with her dead husband Lenny about the past and present.

Pat Dixon-Dale plays Mrs Cox with a specially composed title theme from Adrian Kimberlin.

And don’t worry if you missed episodes one and two, you can visit The Remarkable Mrs Cox Radio Show YouTube page.
