A CLAIRVOYANT from Rednal who made national news for having celebrity clients will be hosting an event in Bromsgrove next month.

Katie Helliwell, 38, will showcase her psychic ability in front of a live audience between 7.30pm and 9pm at Bromsgrove Golf Club on Thursday, February 7.

“I was about eight-years-old when I realised other people couldn’t see ghosts and spirits.

“I absolutely hated my gift for a long time and I tried to hide it because I come from an Irish Catholic family.”

Katie said she was terrified to say anything in fear of being judged or cast aside.

It wasn’t until she was 23 years old, long after school, that Katie decided to embrace her abnormal life.

“I almost died when I was giving birth to my first child Jessica on Christmas Eve.

“But throughout the birth I was able to see spirits around my bedside and I felt like they were watching over me and making sure I was okay – and I was.”

After making it through the ordeal, Katie decided to harness her gift by visiting a spiritualist church.

Later she set up her psychic medium business and has since built up a huge client list, including TV personality Gemma Collins.

“These days I’m proud of my gift and I love reading people’s future for them.

“When I read someone I ask them to stay silent because in my opinion, no real psychic need to find out answers by asking questions.”

The show is suitable for over 18s.
