A DATE with The Snow Queen awaits theatre-goers when the Jigsaw Players stage their annual pantomime during later this month and at the beginning of December.

The Hans Christian Anderson classic comes to the Trinity Centre in Lickey on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 29 to December 1, and from the following Thursday to Sunday.

The show, set in Scandinavia during four different seasons, features a host of wacky characters only ever found in ‘panto land’.

Gerda will be tasked with freeing Kai from the clutches of the evil Snow Queen and Helmut and Granny Annie will need to find the energy to keep up?

A one-liner delivering Caw the Raven, a hippy commune and a frozen landscape are among the other highlights in this fast-paced high energy show with great songs, dances and lots of festive fun for all the family.

The evening performances on the Thursday and Fridays take place at 7pm with matinees at 1.30pm on the first Saturday, 4pm on the first Sunday and second Saturday and 2pm for the last show.

Tickets are £11 each, available by emailing [email protected] or by calling 07919 505764 or 07772 645722.
