BROMSGROVE’S A-Plan Insurance will be holding a number of events to celebrate its change of name to Howden.
The company has been in Bromsgrove since 1999 and over the years has held a number of Halloween events which have always gone down well with customers and residents alike.
The firm became part of the Howden Group family in 2021 with this name change coming two years later.
Bromsgrove Howden manager Tim Jennion said: “We just want to reassure our clients that the only thing changing is the name of the business, it is still the same team in branch and the same great service as always.”
“A plan has over 200 high street branches, we have been a part of the Howden group for two years and it seemed a great time to change the name.”
Among the events to celebrate the company’s continued success and the name change are a Pizza and Prosecco evening in the Bromsgrove High Street branch from 6pm to 8pm on October 6.
Anyone wanting to book a place can either pop into the branch or call 01527 879777.
Tim added: “It promises to be a great evening for us and other local businesses to get to know each other and network.”
Howden Bromsgrove is also holding a treasure hunt for families. Participants are challenged to go through the town in search of the branch’s new name – Howden – which will be in shop windows along the High Street.
Children need to write the shop name and the corresponding letter on the entry form and take it to the branch by October 7.
Those successfully doing so can collect a goody bag and be in with a chance of winning some great prizes.
1st prize is a Virtual Reality (VR) headset (worth £300) and the second is a ride in a Lamborghini (worth £200).
