THERE will be jokes as well as yolks when popular stand-up comedy chef George Egg makes a welcome return to Artrix tomorrow.

George, who cooks on stage as he performs his set, makes a welcome return to the studio at 7.30pm.

He demonstrates how to cook with an engine, uses items from a train buffet trolley and turns unexpected roadworks into a picnic.

He will cook three plates of gourmet food live during the show.

As well as his egg-stravaganza a number of other renowned comics will be performing at the School Drive venue between now and the end of the month.

BBC Radio 4’s police officer-turned-comedian Alfie Moore will perform his latest Fair Cop show at 8pm on Thursday, November 21.

Alfie weaves his unique brand of humour with his personal insights into life on the frontline of the police force.

Sajeela Kershi and Guests present the award-winning show Immigrant Diaries at 7.30pm next Friday, November 22.

Immigrant Diaries is a chance to hear true stories from a cast of performers from somewhere else.

Rounding off the month, at 8pm on November 30, will be Rob Mulholland, Kevin Dewsbury, Steve Day and Noel James in the latest Barnstormers Comedy night.
