BIRMINGHAM Oddfellows has thanked Bromsgrove for making ‘Friendship Month’ such a memorable occasion.
The Oddfellows recently launched their new local friendship group, where they held a cuppa and a chat session at Bromsgrove Golf Centre.
Each September the friendship group organises a series of inexpensive activities to allow people to discover the benefits of joining a local friendship group.
The friendship group runs affordable social events throughout the year in person and on zoom, with their next cuppa and a chat session at 11am on Monday, September 7.
An Oddfellows spokesperson said: “We are thrilled to have welcomed many new faces to our events this month.
“This year has been particularly important as we wanted to encourage people to keep meeting up with friends for support through the cost of living crisis.
“We don’t want anyone in our community to feel alone or financially excluded, so would like to remind readers that Friendship Month was just the icing on the cake”.
