A MAN has died after being struck by a train in Bromsgrove yesterday afternoon (Wednesday).
The emergency services were called to Bromsgrove Railway Station around 4.10pm.
British Transport Police officers attended along with paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service.
An ambulance service spokesperson said: “Sadly it quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
A BTP spokesperson said it responded to calls of a ‘casualty on the tracks’.
He added the death was not being treated as suspicious and a file was being prepared for the coroner.
