Getting creative - Schoolchildren across Bromsgrove and Redditch share artwork with Helping Hands' elderly customers

HELPING Hands Home Care have teamed up with local schools and nurseries to create handmade artwork and letters from the children to Helping Hands’ Redditch and Bromsgrove’s elderly customers.

Miguel Camelo, branch manager, reached out to local schools and nurseries to ask for artwork from the children to lift customers’ spirits.

Miguel said: “Getting the children in contact with our customers made a massive impact – there were customers who were so proud of the artwork that they put it up on display in their homes.”

Brockhill Barn Day Nursery was the first to contribute artwork to Helping Hands’ customers, with many of the customers creating drawings, artwork, cards and knitted figures to send back to the children as a thank you.
