The informative event, held last Thursday on Zoom, featured Dr David Nicholl who has been treating Covid patients on the frontline, and the University of Birmingham’s Director of the Institute of Microbiology and Infection and Bromsgrove resident Prof Willem van Schaik.
A variety of subjects surrounding the pandemic were discussed, including the vaccines and the gaps between doses, infection rates, testing, tracking and tracing, ITU beds, lockdowns and what the future holds for foreign travel.
