POLICE recovered a stolen van and arrested two people on the M5 near Bromsgrove, forcing it to stop.
Officers from Worcestershire Operational Policing Unit (OPU) responded yesterday to reports of a building site being broken into and the thieves making off in the van.
They spotted it minutes later near Junction 4 and used a TPAC manoeuvre to bring it to a standstill.
A TPAC involves police pulling their cars – four on this occasion – in front of, to the side of and behind the target vehicle to box it in and stop it.
The two people inside were arrested for theft and drug-driving.
