Weather warning issued for heavy rain and thunderstorms during tomorrow morning rush hour

Bromsgrove Editorial 23rd Sep, 2019   0

COMMUTERS on their way to work and parents and children on the school run are being urged to take extra care tomorrow morning after the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for heavy rain and thunderstorms across Bromsgrove, Rubery and South Birmingham.

Rain is set to intensify around 6am and 8am with thunder and lightning also expected during the Tuesday morning rush hour.

Drivers are being advised to take extra care on the roads and pedestrians on the footpaths as conditions could become slippy and there could also be localised flooding because of the potential deluge.
