Armed police arrest man in Bromsgrove who was wanted on recall to prison

ARMED officers closed down Redditch Road in Stoke Heath near the Hanbury Turn area earlier today to arrest a 36-year-old man wanted on recall to prison.

Officers attended a property at around 1.15pm today (Thursday 11 October), on Redditch Road, which has now reopened.

No injuries were reported during the incident but residents were being asked to avoid the area.

Redditch Road resident Margaret Howie said: “Armed police were not letting anyone get close.




“I’d only popped out to do the school run and came back to all this.”

According to James lloyd on Twitter sniffer dogs were also at the scene.
