Wythall veterinary practice raise money for local animal charity with special picnic

A WYTHALL veterinary practice took to the great outdoors for a fund-raising event to raise money for a local animal charity.

‘YourVets Wythall’ on Alcester Road took part in the town’s Picnic in the Park to bring the community together for a day of fun activities and entertainment for all ages.

Guests were able to take part in traditional summer fete events, while four-legged friends received free dental and microchip check-ups as well as some puppy pampering.

Claire Girdler, practice manager at ‘YourVets Wythall’, said “Picnic in the Park was a great way for the local community to meet the team, take advantage of some great free treatments – and of course raise lots of money for our chosen charity.

“We’re delighted to have raised nearly £150 for The Animal House Rescue charity.” The Animal House Rescue charity is a small Birmingham based organisation which looks to re-home abused and abandoned animals.
