Man suffers multiple serious injuries after 'falling from a bridge' in Redditch this morning

A MAN has suffered multiple serious injuries after ‘falling from a bridge’ in Redditch this morning.

West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) were called to the scene near the A448 Bromsgrove to Redditch Highway at 8.42am today (Monday) to reports of a man who had fallen from a bridge.

A spokesperson at WMAS, said: “The man, in his 30s, was treated for multiple serious injuries to his head, chest, legs and pelvis.

“Two ambulances and a rapid response paramedic were in attendance, as well as an air ambulance.




“He was taken by land ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.”

The road was closed whilst emergency services dealt with the incident but it reopened at 11am.
