THE PEOPLE of Bromsgrove are being invited to join residents from Breme Care Home next Friday, July 21, for a virtual tour of Spain.
The event, at the home in Providence Road, between 2pm and 5pm, will be a themed celebration, including live Spanish music and paella.
The open afternoon is part of the home’s ‘summer cruise’ week where residents will get to try flavours and cultures from a different country every day.
Residents will be transported to France, Italy, Greece and Turkey before ending their holiday with the day in Spain.
Breme’s activities leader Helen Barron said it was the first time a virtual summer cruise had been held at the home and everyone was very excited.
“We are really looking forward to welcoming people from the local community along to ‘travel’ with us. We look forward to seeing you there.”
