New pop-up Bible shop launched in Bromsgrove

Bromsgrove Editorial 23rd Oct, 2016   0

A NEW Bible shop has been launched in Bromsgrove Town Centre and will be there until the end of November, selling Bibles, books and greetings cards for all occasions.
It is open from 9.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Saturday near the Housman statue and is staffed by volunteers who are all knowledgeable about the Bible, and willing to arrange seminars or discussion groups.
The Bible Learning Centre aims to be both a ‘learning centre’ and a shop selling Christian cards, books and many different versions of the Bible, including some for children.
Manager David Simpson, from Worcester, said: “There are not many shops in the Midlands which concentrate on Bibles and Bible books, and so a visit to this shop is quite a unique experience.”
“In the past the average person was unable to understand the ancient languages of Hebrew, Greek and Latin, but all of that has now changed with the easy reading style of the New International Version, and the English Standard Version.”
