FUND-RAISING events organised by Coun Caroline Spencer during her year as chairman of the Bromsgrove District Council led to £5,822 being handed over to two town charities.
The cash, collected between 2015 and 2016, has been split between The North Worcestershire Basement Project and Libby Mae’s Little Angels.
Coun Spencer said she was so grateful and appreciative to everyone who had supported her events throughout her year in office, adding the funds would greatly help and benefit the two charities.
