Blaze in Rubery park in the early hours of the morning was 'started deliberately'

A FIRE crew from Bromsgrove was forced to smother a blaze in St Chad’s Park in Rubery at 4am this morning (Friday).

The bonfire was well alight when firefighters got there and it is thought to have been started deliberately.

A group of youths were seen in the area prior to the incident.
