Disco to be held at Hawthorns Social Club in Rubery to raise funds for cancer charity

A FAMILY disco will be held at the Hawthorns Social Club in Rubery to raise funds for Cancer Research.

The event, organised by Amanda Allen and Wendy Wenlock, takes place from 7.30pm to midnight tomorrow (Saturday).

It will start with a treasure hunt in the social club grounds and there will be games, a buffet and a raffle with a host of prizes, including a narrowboat minibreak worth more than £700 from Black Prince Holidays, Stoke Prior.

Other prizes include a £20 voucher for Absolute Grooming, a wash and blow dry and hair products from The Cutting Company, a manicure and pedicure at Shell’s Nail Perfection, a photoshoot with free canvas and prints from Amanda Allen’s Photography and a family ticket for Avoncroft.




There will also be hair products from Claire Powell, two tickets to Hatton Country World, a £50 Sainsbury’s voucher, four free Empire Cinema tickets, a free family ticket for Hollywood Bowl, a VIP children’s passes for Frankie and Benny’s, Morrisons vouchers and more.

Admission is £6 per adult, £1 per child and £14 for a family ticket of four.
