AN ‘EARTH Balloon’ event was held by Meadows First School and Parkside Middle School to show pupils what a wonderful planet they lived on and to highlight some of the environmental issues being faced.
Pupils from both schools were able to experience the ‘wow’ factor of working with the huge inflatable globe, which was 7m in diameter, and they were even given the chance to sit inside it to view the continents and oceans from a unique position.
