YOUNGSTERS and staff from Jellybabies Nursery and Pre-School enjoyed some swashbuckling fun when they participated in a pirate day to celebrate full-time volunteer Darren’s birthday.
Among the activities on offer were a treasure hunt where the children worked together as a team to find clues, musical islands, walk the plank, foam sword fights and a three-legged race.
They also learned about pirates and how they live.
