BETWEEN £300 and £400 in Pounds, Euros, Dollars and eastern Caribbean currency, along with electrical items and identification has been stolen after a broad daylight break-in Cofton Hackett.

The incident happened between 8.40am and 3.50pm on Monday (May 9) in Shadow Close.

When the victim got back home, she found her back gate open and later discovered the downstairs toilet window had been smashed.

It is thought this is is how the thieves got in, using the same route to get out of the property.

The resident then found the items and cash missing.

Any witnesses or anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
