A COMMUNITY meeting will be held at St John’s Court in Bromsgrove on Thursday (April 28) to see how organisations can forge links with the nursing home.
The coffee morning, which starts at 11am, will be led by community links champion Heather Mitchell and is aimed at increasing the volunteer support that is currently taking place at St John’s.
Residents, families, the team and those who live in the local community are invited in to learn how important and beneficial volunteers are within a care home environment.
New faces, new conversations and new ideas are always welcome to the get together and, even if people can only commit to one hour a month, it will have a huge impact on the lives of residents, some of whom have no family or friends.
