THERE will be an illustrated talk on Elizabethan and Early Stuart Clothing given by Stuart Peachey, at Avoncroft Museum’s New Guesten Hall from 7pm to 9pm on Thursday (April 21).
Stuart is the author of ‘Clothes of the common people in Elizabethan and Early Stuart England’ and is well known for his expertise, inspiring and entertaining delivery.
The talk will be accompanied by a wide selection of reproductions of period costume which those who go along will be able to handle.
Tickets, which include a glass of wine on arrival, are £10 per person.
