A MAN in his 50s was assaulted in Alvechurch in the early hours of New Year’s Day.
The incident happened in Buckleys Green between 3.30am and 4am.
Police want to speak to two men who helped the victim return from The Crown public house about 1am as it is believed they will have important information which can help the investigation.
And it is thought a large number of neighbours were in the area throughout New Year’s Eve who may also be able to shed some light on what happened.
