RESIDENTS and their four-legged friends can get some post-Christmas and new year exercise with the Dog Day Weekend at Avoncroft Museum this Saturday and Sunday.
Well-behaved dogs on leads are always welcome to roam the 19-acre grounds, especially on this pooch-themed weekend.
Visitors can get their new year’s resolutions off to a flying start with fresh air and the company of other like-minded dog owners.
And there will be free treats for all dogs, as well as a dog-themed trail.
Avoncroft opens from 10.30am to 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays during January and February and offers reduced winter admission prices.
