BROMSGROVE Folk Club welcomes two of the most legendary artists in music history as songwriter, Anthony John Clarke and former Jethro Tull bassist, Dave Pegg team up to perform at 8pm on Thursday (December 10).
Together they bring an evening full of music, mirth, merriment – and more than a little mischief to the club’s Catshill venue in Meadow Road.
Critically-acclaimed as a national treasure, Anthony John Clarke is a rare performer who moves comfortably from pathos to humour. Dave Pegg is the longest serving member of Fairport Convention.
His fluent basslines have underpinned the band’s performances for many years.
Having become personal friends of the Bromsgrove audience over the years, the duo’s annual visit is an eagerly anticipated affair.
The gig will be supported by popular resident band, Fairfield.
Doors open at 7.40pm and entrance costs £6 (members) £8 (non members) and £3 (under 21s).
