A PARADE to commemorate the the 70th anniversary of VE Day will be held in Bromsgrove on Sunday (May 10).

Those wanting to take part need to muster at the top of the High Street (outside Argos) at midday, ready to move off at 12.25pm.

After proceeding along the High Street, those parading will give an eyes left at the Odd Fellows Memorial, before turning right into Church Street.

The parade will then cross Market Street to Church Close and then to the new monument at Crown Close where a short service will take place.

After the Last Post, Exhortation and Reveille, wreaths will be laid by the main organisations.

After the service the parade will disperse and all those taking part are invited to the Millfield Club where light refreshments will be provided.
