All urged to join Santa Dash for good cause

THERE will be hundreds of Father Christmases descending on Redditch for the annual Santa Dash.

The event, from midday next Sunday (December 7), will raise funds for the Primrose Hospice, which has teamed up with Redditch Borough Council and The Kingfisher Shopping Centre for the perfect event to kickstart the festive season.

Participants pay a fee to enter and get a free Santa suit to wear as they see how many laps of the town centre they can do, either walking, running or skipping.

Everyone taking part will also receive a goody bag and medal.

Free Radio’s Andy Goulding will start the dash and there will be a host of other entertainment and games at the event, which is supported by Redditch Ladies’ Circle, the town centre partnership and Charles Lovell and Co solicitors.

Admission is £12 for adults, which includes a free Santa suit, and £5 for under 12s – that includes a free Santa hat.

Family tickets – for two adults and two under 12s – are £30.

Visit www.primrosehospice.org/santa_dash_3 or call 01527 889796 to register.
