Volunteer plea for Girlguides

Bromsgrove Editorial 26th Mar, 2015 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016   0

VOLUNTEERS looking for a new adventure have been encouraged to put themselves forward to help Bromsgrove’s girlguides.

The group urgently needs helpers to spare a few hours a week to help run the units and provide activities and support.

There are four groups – Rainbows, for ages five to seven, Brownies, aimed at seven to ten-year-olds, Guides, for ages ten to 14, and the Senior Section, for those aged between 14 and 26-years-old.

Without more volunteers some of the girls on the group’s waiting list may never be able to get the chance to experience the opportunities girlguiding has to offer so.

Anyone wanting to join will be provided with full training in a fun environment.

ELECTRONIC items were stolen from a home during a burglary in Braces Lane, Marlbrook.

It took place between 6.20pm and 10pm on March 16 when the raiders broke in by smashing a back patio window.

Witnesses or anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
