FISHING and fund-raising will be combined this weekend as part of a charity day in Hanbury.
Mandy Morgan will be splitting the proceeds from the event tomorrow (Saturday) between Cancer Research UK and Liam’s Cause.
The competition will run from 10am to 3pm at Broad Acres Fishery using all four pools there.
Mandy said she chose Cancer Research because everybody was touched by cancer and the other charity because Liam was her nephew.
“He was born under 1lb four years ago and has just gone home a couple of months ago and has lots of problems.
“You don’t get the funding you need over in Ireland so a lot of the family have done fund-raising and I wanted to do my bit.”
