A FAMILY fun day is being held by the North East Worcestershire Ravens Rugby League Club to thank Redditch Heartsafe for providing a defibrillator for their home ground.
The event, at Hopwood Park (the home of Kings Norton RUFC) from 11am next Sunday (August 10), will feature a host of activities, including a rugby target game, raffle, bouncy castle, ice cream, face-painting, soft archery, lucky lolly, a fully licensed bar and much more.
On arrival at Hopwood Park, the club became aware of the need to provide a defibrillator for player and supporter safety and, after finding the contact details of Redditch Heart Safe, they got in touch with the charity.
Redditch Heart Safe felt the NEW Ravens RL should have a defibrillator and kindly donated one for use by NEW Ravens RLC and Kings Norton RUFC.
The fun day will raise funds and awareness of the charity and what it does.
