Residents invited to meet new arrivals at Chadwich open farm day

CHADWICH Manor Farm in Chadwick near Bromsgrove will be welcoming residents between 10am and 4pm this Sunday (June 8) as part of a special event.

Those who go along to Open Farm Sunday will be able to meet Belter the baby pigmy goat and a host of other animals.

There will be tasty samples available to try in the farm shop, including home-grown Highland beef, pork sausages and tangy Worcestershire cheeses. There will also be tea and home-made cake on offer.

Visitors are encouraged to take a picnic to what will be a fantastic free day out for all the family.

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed to Open Farm Sunday as they may scare some of the other animals.

Farmer John said it was a great opportunity for the family to share with everyone the lives they lead on the farm.

“We forget some children have very few opportunities to get close to animals.

“We just hope to make the day one the whole family will enjoy and remember.”
