POLICE have released CCTV of a man they want to speak to in connection with an incident in which a ticket sales assistant was verbally abused at Northfield Railway Station.
It took place about 4.10pm on October 2 when a man and a woman entered the booking office and asked to buy tickets to Birmingham New Street.
While the tickets were being issued, he became extremely abusive and threatened the female member of staff behind the counter.
His tirade continued until the woman refused to serve him because of his behaviour.
He then hit the serving window a number of times before boarding the 4.26pm train to Birmingham.
Investigating officer, PC Tanya Dickinson, said: “Although uninjured, the member of rail staff was understandably left extremely shaken and distressed by the man’s behaviour.”
She said enquiries had been ongoing since the incident happened in a bid to find out who the man was and the force was now releasing the image to see if anyone knew who he was and his whereabouts.
