REDDITCH and Bromsgrove Sea Cadets went back to their roots to learn more about their naval heritage.

A total of 28 members travelled down to Portsmouth and visited HMS Victory, HMS Warrior, the Mary Rose Museum and the Royal Marine Museum, to learn more about the Royal Navy’s history.

Sub Lt James Sanders from the Royal Naval Reserve, said: “This was a great chance for cadets to see and understand the past of the Royal Navy, and the work conditions and hardships they faced.”
