BROMSGROVE Sporting have confirmed defender Jack Kelly as the club’s first summer signing from rivals Redditch United.
Kelly impressed for the Reds last season despite Sporting’s rivals only securing safety on the final day of the season.
The 29-year-old full-back won Redditch’s manager’s player and players’ player of the season awards last term.
Kelly said: “I’m buzzing to be here at Sporting for next season. It’s a massive club, with great ambition, and I’m happy to be part of it.
“I was drawn to the club by the gaffer himself, and how he explained what he expects for next season.
“The fanbase here is also amazing – at home and away games, always behind the lads, which I think is massive.
“I’m a hard working full back who will get up and down the pitch.
“I’d like to say I can bring what I did last season and contribute with numerous assists and a few goals.”
Sporting boss, Scott Adey-Linforth added: “I’m buzzing to have Jack on board.
“I watched him a lot last season and was very impressed with his performances. His character and determination is exactly what I’m after for our changing room.
“From the moment I met him, I knew he was all in and would be a perfect fit.”
