BROMSGROVE Sporting have confirmed the return of defender Josh Dugmore following the defender’s departure from local rivals Alvechurch.
Dugmore returns to the Victoria Ground following a one-season stay with the Rouslers in the 2021/22 season.
He later played for AFC Telford United and Banbury United before spending the last three and a half seasons at Alvechurch where he made more than 150 appearances.
Dugmore said: “I’m buzzing to be back at Bromsgrove. This was the club where my non league journey started when I was 18, so coming back now at 23 feels like a full circle moment.
“I’ve grown a lot as a player since then and I’m excited to be back wearing the shirt again.
“I’m just looking forward to getting started now.”
The full back spent time in Birmingham City’s academy before making the move to Sporting while he also wore the captain’s armband a number of times during the campaign.
Sporting have also signed full back Brad Bood from divisional rivals Stourbridge.
The 22-year-old can play as either a left back or a wing back and has also featured for Telford and Rushall Olympic.
He won the directors’ player of the year award at Stourbridge last season.
Bood said: “I’m delighted to be here and excited to begin this new journey with the club.
“I’m looking forward to getting started, working hard, and contributing to the team’s success.
“And it goes without saying that I’m looking forward to meeting all the supporters throughout pre-season.”
