BROMSGROVE Sporting have retained key players Luke Softley and Billy Shaw for the 2026/27 season.
Softley won the club’s players’ player and directors’ player of the year awards following a strong 2025/26 campaign.
The versatile defender has now extended his stay at the Victoria Ground for another season.
Softley said: “I’m delighted to have signed for another season. I’m really pleased on a personal level with what I achieved last season, gaining two awards.
“I’m looking forward to this season and, as a team, we want to be competing at the higher end of the table.
“I’m really excited with what’s happening at the club and to be a part of it. I can’t wait to get started and see our brilliant fans soon.”
And midfielder Shaw has also committed to the Rouslers for next season.
The fan favourite returned to Bromsgrove for a second spell with Sporting in December 2024 and made his 100th appearance for the club against Stratford Town in April this year.
Shaw added: “It is really good to commit to Sporting again for this season.
“It was a tough year last year and we managed to get through it, but I am motivated to finish much higher up the table for the season ahead.
“I can see that a lot of positive things are happening off the pitch and hopefully we can transfer that onto the pitch. I’m looking forward to meeting up for pre-season, getting up and running.
“It would be great to see as many fans at the games to support and back us for an exciting season.”
