Passenger suffers serious injuries after car crashes into tree in Hagley

A PASSENGER was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a car crashed into a tree in Hagley.

The collision, which happened between 12.05am and 12.10am on Thursday, took place near Hagley Wood Lane and St Kenelm’s Pass.

West Midlands Ambulance Service sent an ambulance, a paramedic officer, a MERIT trauma doctor and a critical care paramedic to the scene.

The passenger – a 25-year-old woman – was taken by ambulance to Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
