A WOMAN was taken to hospital after a two-car crash in Longbridge on Saturday evening.
The collision happened at the junction of Groveley Lane and Cofton Road around 7.30pm.
West Midlands Ambulance Service sent one ambulance and a paramedic officer to the scene.
The woman, who was the driver of one of the cars, had sustained non-life threatening injuries.
She received treatment at the scene before being taken by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further assessment.
The driver of the second car did not require treatment from ambulance staff.
The road was closed for some time while officers from West Midlands Police and the ambulance service dealt with the scene.
