SANTIAGO U16 Colts overcame a two-goal deficit to beat Coleshill United 5-4.

Cieran Halpin was the pick of the scorers as he clinched another hat-trick while Ethan Welch and Sam Whitehouse also netted.

Katie Wilson and Toyah Spoor were on target as U14 Girls edged Marston Green 2-0 while U13 Allstars’ match against Solihull Moors finished goalless.

But there was disappointment for a number of Santiago sides as Halas Hawks thumped U18 Girls 6-1 and U14 Knights were beaten 4-0 by Bordesley Rovers.

George Whitehouse bagged a brace, but U14 Shamrocks suffered a 4-2 defeat to Callowbrooke Swifts.

In another high-scoring clash, U14 Sirens lost 5-3 to Kings Heath Sports, with Hanah Nowakowska, Geogia Lomas and Cara Stephenson scoring for the hosts.

U12 Lions were knocked out of the Open Cup after Knowle Juniors ran out 7-2 winners, while U14 Lions’ cup run was also ended.

Dominic Gentleman and Stewart Greenhalph got on the scoresheet as U14 Lions took C C C Boys to extra time, but the visitors secured their place in the semi-final of the League Trophy after winning on penalties.
