KINGS Norton Rugby Club’s Hopwood Park home played host to an exciting six-a-side girls’ rugby tournament on Tuesday.
The event was a continuation of the thriving local schools and junior rugby scene and was co-ordinated and hosted by Kings and Craig Ellicott of St Laurence School.
There is a strong focus on junior rugby at the Ash Lane club, which has a very successful Rhinos section.
Ten school teams competed in the event including two from St Laurence and The Meadows and others from West Heath, Raddlebarn, Bournville, The Orchards, Princethorpe and St Mary’s.
