DOMINIC Strevens and Dan Lawrence star as Bartley Green Sunday booked their place in the semi-finals of the WFA Sunday Junior Cup with an 8-1 victory over Plough Dukes.

Strevens and Lawrence both bagged hat-tricks in the romp, while Connor Collins netted a double to round off a comfortable victory for Bartley who will meet Broadway United in the next round.

Meadow Park progressed into the semis after they ran out 4-1 winners over Rednal Social Club; Jamie Ashmore netted Rednal’s consolation.

Northfield Athletic will be Meadow Park’s opponents in the semis as they narrowly beat The Bell at Pensax 4-3.




Joshua Moore bagged a hat-trick in the win, with Paul Newman completing their scoring.

Bromsgrove Corinthians moved into the semi-finals of the WFA Minor Cup as goals from Tom Mason and Josh Mitchell secured a 2-1 victory over Swan Athletic.


Callowbrook Swifts Green are the first team to book their place in the Rose Bowl final after claiming a 4-1 victory over Stoke Prior.

James Ward and Jack Steele netted braces for Swifts.

AFC Millfields needed penalties to beat FC Bromsgrove in the WA Harris Cup Preliminary Round after 90 minutes of football saw the scoreline locked at 4-4 – there was no extra-time.

Ashley Roland scored twice, while Chris Burford and Robert Stevenson also got on the scoresheet for Millfields who won 5-4 on penalties.

VBG Fairfield moved into the semi-finals of the Worcester Nursing Junior Cup after they enjoyed a 4-1 victory over WCT Youth Raiders courtesy of two goals from Daniel Wilkes and singles from Ryan Molesworth and Laurence Martin.

Richard Smith replied for Raiders.

Meanwhile, in the Worcester Nursing Minor Cup, Awkies Allstars edged out The Talbot 3-2 to secure a spot in the semi-finals.

Goals from Matthew Adams, Chris McGrory and Jason Gibbons ensured Allstars claimed a narrow win.

In the Bromsgrove & District League Premier Division, Rubery Athletic beat second-bottom Lickey End Social 3-2 courtesy of a Andrew Court double and strike from Nathan Ward.

In Division One, Chaddesley Corbett slumped to their third league defeat of the season after losing 3-1 at home to Stoke Sporting.

Two goals from Peter Warman and one from Ben Johnson secured the win for Sporting; Matthew Perry got on the scoresheet for Chaddesley.

AFC Northfield are still awaiting for their first win of the season after they were narrowly defeated 2-1 by GLA.

Kit Wozniak and Stee Collett netted for GLA; Sam Chilton for Northfield.

Elsewhere, Bromsgrove United romped to a 6-2 victory over Sporting Rednal courtesy of a James Halsall hat-trick, Michael Hegarty double and single from Thomas Trow-Poole.

In Division Two, fourth-placed Hizza United enjoyed an 8-1 victory over winless Bridgfield.

Ben Briggs and Scott Young netted hat-tricks with Ashley Verity helping himself to a double.

Woodgate Valley were also big winners as they secured a 7-0 victory away at Bromsgrove Brentnal thanks to a hat-trick from Jamie Sippitts, a double from Josh Fergusson and efforts from Ben Fowler and Nick Wilson.
