RESIDENTS of all ages who want to tread the boards in panto can go along to open auditions for Aladdin at The Trinity Centre, Lickey, between 4pm and 9pm on June 25 and 26.
The production itself will run from December 2 to December 4 and between December 9 to 11 at The Trinity Centre.
The try-outs being held by The Jigsaw Players are for adults, youth and children.
Those going along should prepare a song of their choice that best demonstrates their vocal range and they will also need to read from the script and do some simple dance steps.
Dancers should prepare a short routine to showcase their skills.
Rehearsals for the show begin on September 11 and take place every Sunday – from 4pm to 6pm for children and between 7pm and 9pm for youth performers and adults.
Those in principal roles will also be required to rehearse on Tuesday or Thursday evenings.
