CHILDREN from Charford were thrown a Christmas party to remember at the area’s St Andrew’s Church Hall.
The event on Saturday (December 19) was made possible, thanks to a donation of £400 from Asda and a £100 gift from a member of Bromsgrove’s St John’s Church.
The party, which featured games, craft activities, food, the chance to make a Christingle and a visit from Father Christmas, was attended by 23 youngsters.
Each of those who went along also received a gift from the man in the big red suit.
Organiser Jo Hackett said: “We want to say a huge thank you to Asda and the church member – we would not have been able to do it without you or those who helped on the day.”
