CCTV pictures released after substantial sum is taken in Bromsgrove shop robbery

POLICE are hunting raiders who escaped with a substantial amount of cash following a robbery in Catshill on Friday night (October 2).

The incident happened about 10pm when three masked men entered the shop on Woodrow Lane, threatened the staff and ordered them to open the safe.

After being handed the undisclosed amount of money, they left the store on foot and headed off towards Green Lane.

Officers, who said there were no weapons involved and no one was injured, are currently reviewing CCTV footage.




And they have released these pictures.

The first man wore a black balaclava, a dark jacket, blue jeans, black and white trainers and black gloves.


The second wore a dark hooded top to obcure his face. That had white piping on the zip and pockets. He also wore dark trousers, white and black trainers and white and grey gloves.

The third man was wearing a black balaclava, a blue jacket with white writing across the back of the shoulders, grey jogging bottoms, white trainers and black gloves. He is thought to have been carrying a cream and black rucksack.

Officers from Bromsgrove Police want to speak to any witnesses or any shoppers who were in or around the shop around that time.
