A BROMSGROVE business owner has received an early Christmas present after being selected in a festive prize draw.
Barry Ebbutt, who is 63 and married to Linda and has a 32-year-old son, Tom, scooped £1,000 in the competition being run by webuyanycar.com.
Barry went along to talk about selling his wife’s car and his name was automatically put into the hat as part of the company’s ‘12 Days of Christmas’ promotion, which ran until Monday (December 15).
Barry said he was looking forward to celebrating his upcoming birthday in style by treating the whole family to a slap-up meal with his winnings.
“This sort of money would be welcome at any time, but especially at Christmas.”
He added the process was really quick and netting the £1,000 was a bonus. Now it’s looking like the best Christmas ever.” he added.
